Changing your email address at Brown
There is a danger of not being recognized quickly as a member of the Brown community when you do not use the @brown.edu email address. If I am a member of a large department receiving hundreds of email a day and I do not recognize your email address, I may dismiss your email without reading it.
To change your eab (electronic address book) entry:
- Go to
https://webapps.brown.edu/myaccount#/
- Click on "Delivery Location" if you want your email at the Brown postoffice to be forwarded to another email server.
- On the new form, click on Other email address and enter your outside email address.
- Click on Submit Changes to Email Delivery at the bottom of the form to commit the changes.
